The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway, Erna Solberg, laid the foundation stone for the biomass power plant. Laying the foundation stone in Business zone in Žakanje started realisation of 18.7 million euros heavy investment by Norwegian companies.

Construction of the plant is planned during 2018. and 2019. About thirty people will be emlpoyed at the end.
